Mặc dù việc thiết kế và quản lý hệ thống sản xuất đã được nghiên cứu trong các tài liệu từ nhiều năm nay nhưng chúng vẫn là những vấn đề mang tính thời sự trong nghiên cứu khoa học hiện nay. Xu hướng thị trường thay đổi, toàn cầu hóa, áp lực giảm chi phí sản xuất liên tục và tiến bộ kỹ thuật và công nghệ khiến việc tìm kiếm các phương pháp sản xuất mới và cách tổ chức chúng cũng như sửa đổi mô hình thiết kế hệ thống sản xuất là cần thiết. Cuốn sách này trình bày nghiên cứu hiện tại trong các lĩnh vực khác nhau liên quan đến thiết kế và quản lý hệ thống sản xuất và bao gồm các lĩnh vực chủ đề như: phương pháp hỗ trợ thiết kế hệ thống sản xuất, phương pháp cải tiến quy trình bảo trì trong công ty, thiết kế và cải tiến quy trình sản xuất, kiểm soát của các quy trình sản xuất trong các hệ thống sản xuất hiện đại Các phương pháp và kỹ thuật sản xuất được sử dụng trong các hệ thống sản xuất hiện đại và các khía cạnh môi trường của sản xuất cũng như tác động của chúng đối với việc thiết kế và quản lý các hệ thống sản xuất. Một loạt các kết quả nghiên cứu được trình bày trong cuốn sách này xác nhận rằng thiết kế hệ thống sản xuất là một vấn đề phức tạp và việc đạt được các mục tiêu đặt ra cho các hệ thống sản xuất hiện đại đòi hỏi kiến thức liên ngành và thiết kế đồng thời sản phẩm, quy trình và hệ thống, cũng như kiến thức về các phương pháp và kỹ thuật sản xuất và tổ chức hiện đại.

Abstract:

Although the design and management of manufacturing systems have been explored in the literature for many years now, they still remain topical problems in the current scientific research. The changing market trends, globalization, the constant pressure to reduce production costs, and technical and technological progress make it necessary to search for new manufacturing methods and ways of organizing them, and to modify manufacturing system design paradigms. This book presents current research in different areas connected with the design and management of manufacturing systems and covers such subject areas as: methods supporting the design of manufacturing systems, methods of improving maintenance processes in companies, the design and improvement of manufacturing processes, the control of production processes in modern manufacturing systems production methods and techniques used in modern manufacturing systems and environmental aspects of production and their impact on the design and management of manufacturing systems. The wide range of research findings reported in this book confirms that the design of manufacturing systems is a complex problem and that the achievement of goals set for modern manufacturing systems requires interdisciplinary knowledge and the simultaneous design of the product, process and system, as well as the knowledge of modern manufacturing and organizational methods and techniques.
